My Actifit Report Card: Low Tide Brings In A Lot Of People

Hello everyone! Today is a workout rest day but I had an afternoon leisure walk in our local wharf.

When I arrived at the wharf there seems to be a lot of people today. Which is rare to see during weekdays but there it was.

Many people came in today due to the fact that the tide is low and many of our townsmen love low tides coz they can hunt for molluscs or shellfish.

Many people here love eating them including myself. I would personally love to hunt for them but sadly I don't know how. If only I could I would lol

The weather today really is great. No wonder there were so many people here today.

Anyways guys thats all for me today. See you again tomorrow for another day of workout 💪

How interesting that locals there would catch mollusks for meals. Pretty cool. I hope it's safe to eat. Very nice photos shared here. Lucky for you to live in such a nice place.

Yeah I not entirely sure what it is called in english but when I look at google for the world mollusks or shellfish and it is quite a delicacy here. If you buy some at the market it is quite expensive so people who knows how to hunt for them go every time there is a low tide. I can personally vouch the tastiness of these things coz I know how to eat them but I don't know how to catch them sadly 😅

Thank you, it has been like a custom here to hunt for these delicious shellfish during low tides, if you buy some in the market it is expensive and for people who don't have enough money to go by. Shellfishes are one of the best way to survive the hunger and if cooked right is quite delicious. I'm not much of a seashore guy so I don't know how to catch them sadly but I sure do like the taste 😁
